[PolyORB-users] re establishing communications between partitions

I have a partition which regularly talks to a server partition across 
the internet. Occassionaly there will be internet service disruptions 
and my partition needs to re establish comms to the server.
       What I have been doing is stopping the task and restarting it and 
this does not appear to work. I have been looking through  the 
documentation and have not been able to find what I need. Is there a 
clear protocol for this?
