[gvd-devel] cannot create config file

When I'm trying "set GVD_HOME=%USERPROFILE%", then starting
GVD, it behaves correctly, displaying
"Created config directory C:\Documents and Settings\xxxx\.gvd"
So I suspect there is something wrong in your Win2000 settings...
(my guess: the string "%USERPROFILE%" instead of its contents!)
BTW: I tested on GVD 1.2.6 .
