[gvd-devel] BadAlloc/BadFont on Sparc Solaris

I get the following errors when I try to start the precompiled binariey of 
gvd 1.2.0 on Sparc Solaris 7 and 8:

Gdk-ERROR **: BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation)
  serial 380 error_code 11 request_code 45 minor_code 0
Gdk-ERROR **: BadFont (invalid Font parameter)
  serial 381 error_code 7 request_code 47 minor_code 0

This was not a problem with gvd 1.1.0.
