The gtkada is following the gtk+ API, so these aren't compatible either.

It is unlikely that it will be compatible, although it may well be, or
could be made without too much changes.

You can have a look at the file docs/2.0-transition.txt to have an idea
on what has changed between Gtk+ 1.2 and 2.0
