[gtkada] Losing changes in Win32. Any workarounds?

Hello,

looking further in my changes being lost, I see in the UG:

"Under Win32 based systems, Gate will not attempt to merge changes.
Instead, it will always regenerate and overwrite every file."

Any suggestions to get a merging scheme going? I don't mind a bit of
scripting. I'm looking right now at merge, it seems easy enough.
