[gtkada] Version Mismatch problems

Hope someone can point me in the right direction to resolve this problem :

a) RH Linux 6.2 : I got the widget GtkExText, compiled and built it. I built
an Ada interface and a small test program to this. This compiled and built
and runs as expected. The test program with GtkExText called test.c also
compiles and runs just fine. If it matters my GtkAda version here is 1.2.8
and the glib&gtk etc are all matching.

b) Win32 - First I had to get myself set up with the gtk development
environment in C. I did that. But the download I got was labeled version
1.3. However my GtkAda is 1.3.10 (or is it 1.2.10). The test program does
not run quite as expected. (The text editor cannot be made editable as an
example). I also have trouble running the test program that came with
GtkExText. 

Clearly I need a "C" environment that is also 1.2.10 but short of
redownloading the libs etc, any other suggestions?
