[gtkada] Problems with package Gtkada.Intl

I have played a little bit with package Gtkada.Intl during
the holidays, but I have problems getting the expected
results from the gettext binding.

shows in details what I did on my Red Hat 7.0 box.

What did I do wrong?
Is there an error in the manual?
Is there an error in the binding?
Is there an error in gettext?
