I can see why your patch might be needed (for the person who asked where
"Nothing" comes from, this is defined in gdk-types.ads for Gdk_Event_Type).

However, I'd like to know how you got an event that wasn't initialized
(Ptr=null) in the first place. I haven't seen that happen yet, and I suspect
the problem you are trying to fix might in fact come from a previous part of
either GtkAda or your application.
