I which so to but current status is bleak as the configure scripts are all
broken. It starts with:

------
+ ./configure --prefix=/opt/gnat/gcc --host=x86_64-suse-linux --build=x86_64-suse-linux --target=x86_64-suse-linux --with-src_info=no --wit
h-python=/usr
checking build system type... x86_64-suse-linux-gnu
checking host system type... x86_64-suse-linux-gnu
checking target system type... x86_64-suse-linux-gnu
-------

I explicitly state the system to be used (x86_64-suse-linux) and configure
still used a different setup (x86_64-suse-linux-gnu). It should not be that
way.

And later it fails on:

-------
checking whether char is unsigned... no
checking signed char declarations... yes
checking for socket libraries... checking for connect... yes
checking for gethostbyname... yes

checking system version (for dynamic loading)... ./configure: line 9277:
syntax error near unexpected token `)'
./configure: line 9277: ` OSF*)'
configure: error: /bin/sh './configure' failed for unix
configure: error: /bin/sh './configure' failed for tcl8.1
configure: error: /bin/sh './configure' failed for kernel/src_info/sn/snsrc
error: Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.17328 (%prep)

RPM build errors:
Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.17328 (%prep)
-----

I analysed the problem and there seem to be some ' or " missing. All very
confusing. Ludovic fixed it for Debian and GPS 2.1 [1] but even that fix is
difficult to apply and I have not yet found the time.

And it is rather sad as the new GPS is quite cool - I got the Pro version at
work. And NO, the GPS Pro sources won't compile either.

Martin
