[GAP] GPL and AdaGIDE for Vista

Does GNAT GPL and AdaGIDE run under Vista?

I have a CS1 student who is running Vista on his personal computer 
and has had no success compiling an Ada program in the textbook.  The 
error message references some missing files, but he was not able to 
give me the names when he dropped by my office this morning.  He did 
the usual uninstall and reinstall.  He installed the two programs in 
the correct order.  I saw no specific mention of Vista in the GPL or 
AdaGIDE documentation so thought I would check before digging into his system.
