[AWS] fatal error, run-time library not installed correctly cannot locate file system.ads

Just downloaded latest GNAT GPL 2014 from adacore.com and trying to install
it.

I did ./doinstall in GNAT GPL directory it asked me the questions and ran
without errors

But now I get,

gnatgpl/gnat-gpl-2014-x86_64-linux-bin$ /usr/gnat/bin/gnat
fatal error, run-time library not installed correctly
cannot locate file system.ads

same error happens with other tools such as gnatls.

That's on a fresh Debian Wheezy with nothing else done to the system.

I also tried on a fresh Ubuntu 14.04 and exact same thing happens.

My end goal is to get a very basic AWS web app running with some basic
database functionality using GNATColl as I'm evaluating Ada/AWS/GNATColl
for larger long-term website deployments.

So far It's been nothing but pain every avenue I try fails with some
obscure error one way or another with no guide or material available to
resolve the issue.

I don't know if something is supposed to work but it fails, or it's not
supposed to work in the first place and I'm doing the wrong thing.

And searching of course 95% of the results are about Amazon AWS, and Ada
results are about Australian Dental Association, or if I copy paste the
error and get lucky it takes me to a mailing list archive or Debian bug
list archive where there is a post from 2007 of some other poor soul having
the same problem.

So can someone who has been down this path help me out with this please?

Is it possible to get Ada, AWS and GNATColl running on any linux distro?
Which one? Which version of what do I get from where? What commands do I
run to get them installed?

I'm only recently starting to learn more about Ada and AWS and from the
documentation parts that I have seen there's a wealth of good ideas and
software available but very little material or guidance to help get people
started which seems like a waste.

Thanks
