[AWS] Support for logging to syslog

Hey all,

I'd very much like to be able to send the AWS logging data to syslog, but
instead of patching in syslog support, I thought I'd instead make it
possible to simply register a procedure for handling the access logging
data and a procedure for handling the error logging data.

How does that idea sound? Good? Crap?

I'd very much like your feedback, before I start working on it.
