When a variant record is sent across the RCI interface, does anyone know how efficient it is in its space usage. i.e. Does it send the bytes for the biggest possible variant record or for the amount needed? p.s. my polyorb app is working nicely now, thanks to all those folk on this list who helped me get it working!
