Is there an alternative to the conventional ./configure & make on windows? I am having trouble just getting configure to complete successfully. I am using cygwin and configure complains :

configure: error: Ada compiler is not working

-----------
Alternatively if anyone has a configured dir structure for windows, I can use that as a starting point?

In any case why does the script think Ada compiler is not working?

thanks for any hints.
