Hello,

I am using an Ada application using PolyOrb.
I have exactly the same problem as found here :

http://lists.adacore.com/pipermail/polyorb-users/2005-August/000208.html
except than I am unable to solve the issue.

The CORBA client side is written in Java, and has some trouble when
trying to communicate with the PolyOrb server from the network.

The client works fine when launched locally, both with 127.0.0.1 and
with my IP address (192.168.1.58) :

  polyorb.protocols.iiop.default_addr=192.168.1.58 -- my 'local' IP addr
  polyorb.protocols.iiop.default_port=2809

But from another host, the client receives a polyorb.comm_failure.
Though, the computer hosting the PolyOrb server can be reached from
the local network. I can ping, ssh from outside, and when I launch
nmap 192.168.1.58 from outside, the 2809 port is listenning well.

I have no idea what the problem could be.
It does not seem to be a network configuration problem.

Any clue ?

Thanks a lot
