[PolyORB-users] Problem with polyorb 2.5 and iac

Hi Thomas.

I'm use tortoise windows client subversion becouse the linux machine don't
have Internet connection. Then I copy the files to *new directory* in my
linux machine /usr/local/polyOrb_src_revisionnumber.  To generate the
configure file write  in the new polyOrb directory './utils/prepare_distrib
.'.

l*ocalhost at localdomain **polyOrb-r128337**> pwd
/usr/local/polyOrb-r128337
localhost**@**localdomain **polyOrb-r128337**> ./utils/prepare_distrib
.*

.
then I configure the polyOrb...

*localhost**@**localdomain **polyOrb-r128337**>pwd
/usr/local/polyOrb-r128337
localhost**@**localdomain **polyOrb-r128337**>./configure
--prefix=/usr/local/polyorb_2.5 --with-corba-services="naming" *

and finally,  *make *and *make install*.

In all process I'm use root user.

I have other question .....

when I use the configure option --enable-shared

*./configure --prefix=/usr/local/polyorb_2.5 --with-corba-services="naming"
--enable-shared

*I don't find the shared library .so in the *polyorb_2.5/lib*
