I was able to compile Polyorb r124760 on OpenBSD with FSF/GCC 4.3.0 and
debug enabled using Maciej's patch. I had memory limits set to 500M,
but they were never reached (=OS didn't kill the compiler), so the new
IDL compiler seems nice. With older versions GCC used over 900M even
without optimizations.
