[PolyORB-users] Building PolyORB 2.4.0-2 on Windows XP

            Hello there,


                  I'm having some issues on building PolyORB 2.4.0-2 on
Windows XP with GNAT GPL 2008. I've tested with both msys and cygwin with no
imediate success.


             


                  The thing is, after hacking through the build system I
managed to get it compiled, but make install still didn't work. So I figured
out it would be safe to just use the gpr file that was present in projects
folder. I managed then to compile my code but a code that used to work fine
on linux simply stoped working giving me this exception:

            Is this expected behaviour? What build system would you recomend
on windows platform? Is PolyORB supported on this platform? Do you recomend
using another version?


             


            I'll be glad to post more information. I haven't done so on this
e-mail because I figured out it'd become too long and maybe it's a well
known issue.
