[PolyORB-users] PolyORB compilation on Windows

Thanks for the heads-up.  I'll probably end up switching to a Linux platform if I don't have success with Windows.

I managed after a _lot_ of work to get a build under mingw. The compilation
was painfully slow. Unfortunately when I tried to run the built PO demos I
got nowhere .. I'm afraid I lost heart at that point.
