[gvd-users] Separate execution window

Are you planning to have a separate execution window integrated into =
gvd? (much like the one of ddd).

For programs that do textual output would be very useful. Running the =
program in a separate terminal and attaching it to gdb has the problem =
of suspending the running process: if the program is too short it may =
terminate before you can suspend it.

The only workaround I see is to modify the program to ask for some input =
from the keyboard at the very beginning, but this does not seem a clean =
solution to me.

Is there a simple way to stop a process just after loading the program =
into memory?
Or can I redirect the program output to a terminal?
