[gvd-users] Memory dump takes about 25sec

Hello.
	I try to look at memory location using "Data->Examine Memory" menu option. 
	This operation takes about 25-28 seconds on my K7-1300MHz machine under 
Linux RH7.2. 
	When I type in the gdb window the following string:
(gdb) x/100xw Arg->Buffer 
(or any other existing address) I receive the reply immediately.
	Can somebody help me with this very annoying problem?
