[gvd-users] Why I can not see slide bar

This is a known limitation of gtk+ 1.x (the text widget didn't support
horizontal scrolling). Development versions of Gvd have moved to the unstable
releases of gtk+, which do have horizontal scrolling -- although really are
less stable currently).
