And also to be able to set the tab value. 8 seems to be the default, but I don't know
a lot of developers who use tab=8 in their source editor ;-).
As well as the background color for source view, overriding gtk global settings.

Ooops, please forget! I saw that a lot of preferences can be set in ~/gvd/preferences,
whereas they are not accessible thru GVD's UI, great!
