[gvd-devel] cannot create config file

Hi Arno,

I understand your point, but "Cannot create config directory %USERPROFILE%\.gvd Exiting..." is the exact message displayed in the error dialogue.  I am using Win2000 and i have checked %USERPROFILE% is exist in system variable.

%USERPROFILE% is not a valid directory. GVD should try to create a directory
named e.g. c:\.gvd

As documented, GVD uses either %GVD_HOME% or %HOME% as the value for
creating the .gvd directory.

GVD does not make any attempt to dereference the values multiple times.
