[gvd-devel] Help needed ! - can not build GVD 1.2.0 for Windows 98 (ERROR in doc directory now)

Thank you very much!
The sources have been compiled successfully now! But... now the ERROR
appeared in the doc directory:

...
echo x | tex gvd.texi
This is TeX. Version 3.14159 (Web2C 7.3.3)
I can't find the format file 'tex.fmt'
make[1]: *** [doc] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory '//c/gvd-1.2.0-src/docs'
make: *** [docs] Error 2

What should i do?
