[gtkada] Cannot run gtkada programs in Ubuntu 8.04

Hello,

I've recently installed Ubuntu 8.04,  GNAT-GPL 2008 and 
Gtkada-gpl-2.10.2. Gtkada programs (like testgtk) compile fine, but when 
I run them I get the message:

./testgtk: ../../src/xcb_lock.c:77: _XGetXCBBuffer: Assertion
`((int) ((xcb_req) - (dpy->request)) >= 0)' failed.

raised PROGRAM_ERROR : unhandled signal

Any workarounds?
