You should download instead gtkada 2.8.0 which is compatible with
Ada 2005.

GtkAda 2.8.0 can be found as part of tools/gtkada

I guess you mistakenly took instead gtkada-gps-3.x which as the name tries
to indicate, is the gtkada source package use to build gps, and not a general
purpose gtkada release.
