I have also encountered this error when trying to compile GtkAda 2.0
using the gcc 2.8.1 which is included in gnat 3.14p and 3.15p.  I have
found that gcc 2.95.4 (on Debian 3.0) and 3.0.1 (on Red Hat Linux 7.3)
both work for the C part of GtkAda.
