Hi
I have made a small program to learn about gdk and using Ada tasks with Gtk.
It is called Klokka (the clock)[*] and it works fine in Linux.
See: http://www.pvv.org/~randhol/Ada95/klokka.png
and http://www.pvv.org/~randhol/Ada95/desktop.png (upper right corner)
But when I tried to run it in Windows XP it doesn't work. It compiled
and it shows the clock, but it looks like the tasking is hanging. The
program just hangs and XP says it is not responding. I don't know why. I
use Gnat 3.14p on both platforms.
Could somebody try to compile it on Windows to check if it works on some
other versjon of Windows. If you like you can also try it on Linux (then
you just type either make og make opt in the directory).
The source can be found here:
http://www.pvv.org/~randhol/Ada95/klokka.zip
I'll make a homepage later when I know more about what is wrong with the
Windows version. I was thinking of commenting the source so it can be
used as an example for others.
Thanks in advance!
