[gtkada] powergnu example

hello,
sorry for rewriting my question,
I tried to run the powergnu example in the GtkAda package, but I was 
unable to use it well.
the title is gtkada presentation viewer, and when a try to open a file 
with F3 key,
I choose for example a xpm or a jpg image, but nothing is displaying, 
except a number like 5/120 in the status bar which I don't know what 
does it means...
is powergnu example a image viewer ?
is anyone have ever used it ?
