We are pleased to announce the new release of GtkAda containing
lots of nice new features.

GtkAda 1.2.7
------------

GtkAda is an Ada95 graphical toolkit based on Gtk+ version >= 1.2.2. It
allows you to develop graphical applications in Ada95 using Gtk+.

New features in 1.2.7/1.3.7 include:

- New widgets bound from GtkExtra: Gtk_Plot, Gtk_Plot_Canvas, Gtk_Plot_Layout,
   Gtk_Check_Item, Gtk_Sheet, Gtk_Combo_Box, Gtk_Color_Combo, Gtk_Border_Combo,
   Gtk_Font_Combo, Gtk_Item_Entry
- Postscript support added from GtkExtra: Gtk.Extra.Plot_Ps and Gtk.Extra.PsFont
- New examples added in the directory examples/tutorial.
- The handling of arrays of null terminated strings has been greatly simplified
  (see GtkAda.Types for more details).
- The GtkAda Reference Manual has been significantly enhanced.
- Gtk_Item_Factory has been partly (about 90%) bound.
- Update to GtkGlArea 1.2.2
- The support for opengl is now built in a separate library.
- Support for image loading, rendering, scaling and compositing has been added
  (from libart and gdk-pixbuf).
- Under Win32, gate is now able to merge user changes as under unixes.
- Glade now properly handles backup files under Win32.

New features in 1.2.6/1.3.6 include:

- Fixed to be compatible with Gtk+ 1.2.2 instead of requiring 1.2.4
- Fixed an installation problem on some Linux versions.
- Multiple redraws under Win32 are now handled properly.
- The HTML reference manual now contains nice colored boxes.
