[gtkada] 1.2.8 Won't Build

I've just fetched 1.2.8, untarred and run ./configure and
make.  I get this failure:

gcc -shared -fPIC  -o libgtkada.so lib-obj/glib*.o lib-obj/gdk*.o lib-obj/gtk*.o lib-obj/misc.o lib-obj/misc_extra.o gtkextra/gtk*.o -L/usr/lib -L/usr/X11R6/lib -lgtk -lgdk -rdynamic -lgmodule -lglib -ldl -lXi -lXext -lX11 -lm
gcc: lib-obj/glib*.o: No such file or directory
gcc: lib-obj/gdk*.o: No such file or directory
make[1]: *** [libgtkada.so] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/rlove/GtkAda-1.2.8/src'
make: *** [all] Error 2

Its right, there are no such files in src/lib-obj.  Where do
they come from?  Should there be source to genenerate them
in the lib-obj directory?

I take it others have built 1.2.8?

I'm running RH 6.2 with the 3.12 compiler and these results

124 % gtk-config --version
1.2.6


125 % gtk-config --libs
-L/usr/lib -L/usr/X11R6/lib -lgtk -lgdk -rdynamic -lgmodule -lglib -ldl -lXi -lXext -lX11 -lm

So I believe that I have the right libraries.  Besides, 
configure didn't complain.

All suggestions appreciated.
