GPS went away with the message shown below.

Here are the steps needed to recreate this behavior.

1. Open a project file. Make sure that either only the help is
displayed in the editing window or no file is displayed at all. It is
very important requirement to recreate this behavior.

2. If no file is displayed in the editing window, select Help ->
Contents. Otherwise, skip to step 3.

3. Close the help file with mouse click on the X of its window.

GPS will go way, and the error message will be displayed in the
terminal where gps was launched.
