Pretty sure that there is only one copy installed. My solaris box is
pretty lame with a very small hard drive so I tend to keep it pretty clean.

As far as I know GPS stopped including gtkada source some time ago and
now uses released versions.

I tried (after my post last night) replacing that gnat src that is
distributed with
GPS with a link to the GCC 3.4.1 source that I used to build the
compiler I am using but that is a no go because of updates required to
GNAT.OS_Lib that are not present in gcc 3.4 series compilers (but they
do appear in the GCC CVS head).

It certainly does not seem to me like one can use a gcc 3.4 series
compiler (especially where one = me) to build GPS 2.1.0 against the
GtkAda 2.4.0.

Can anyone confirm success with this configuration?

I can certainly change to either the CVS head or 4.0 branch (unreleased)
of GCC since this does not really need to be bullet proof (I just want
to dabble in a few updates to GPS...most of which will probably just be
xml file changes...but I thought I'd start from a source build for fun)
