[gps-devel] Weird accents handling in source editor

Dear developers,

It seems that GPS source editor is not quite accent-friendly, particularly
when dealing with comments.
- syntax highlighting does not work any more as soon as an accent is
present in a comment.
- in case a comment ends with a letter having an accent, this letter
sometimes 'vanishes' from the file when it is saved (and then reopened);
this letter needs not having been entered in GPS source editor.
ex : "   -- analysé"
- after folding/unfolding blocks, comment lines including accents are
sometimes replaced by blank lines in the file.
This behaviour occurs in GPS Academic 1.4.0 (Linux and Windows versions)
and 1.4.1 (latest binary snapshot).
I hope this may help improving GPS (which is great).

Regards,

Grégory Chardon
