SPARK can verify a wide range of security properties,
including basic dumb mistakes, type-safety,
partial correctness, and invariant properties.
It's also sound (or put another way - the false-negative
rate of the verification tools is designed to be zero - something
that no other contemporary tools can claim.)

The Tokeneeer project illustrates what kind
of thing we can do. Published in ISSSE 2006 - PDF
of the paper is on www.sparkada.com
