[GAP] Version number of latest GAP release?

I've just downloaded and successfully installed the latest 'gap' from
gap-2005-i686-gnu-linux-libc2.3-bin.tgz, thank you. The previous
versions I installed had version numbers '1.0.1' and '1.1.0'. I can't
find any similar version number on this installation. Has this numbering
scheme been discontinued? (If not, where do I find the number.) For now,
I've just installed it as package 'gap-20050621'.)
