[GAP] Announcing the Winter Solstice 2004 GAP Edition

Dear GAP members,

We are pleased to announce the new GNAT Academic release (GAP 1.1)
which contains updated versions of the compiler, tools and library along
with a new version of GPS. The main driving force for this new release
comes from those of you who mentioned their interest in using Ada
2005 features (such as the object.method notation) in their classes
for the next semester.

Javier Miranda will soon post a message detailing which Ada 2005
features have been implemented so far and how to use them. Stay tuned!
