while this is interesting, I'd suggest that you try also some
lightweight high-performance HTTP servers such as Cherokee
or Lighttpd and Apache2:

I know that it introduces new degrees of freedom and complexity
in designing the experiment correctly, but it would be IMHO really
interesting to see how AWS compares.
