[AWS] Has AWS 1.4 been tested with Linux 2.6 ?

The web page only says GNU/Linux and i'm having trouble with the Mandrake 10.0 
and kernel 2.6.
AWS compiles just fine but the servers (from the demos for example) always 
give me time outs when i try to reach them, so i'm wondering if the problem 
might not come from changes in the sockets in 2.6 since i don't see what 
other things have changed in my configuration.
